ZIRO Music Festival 2023, Arunachal Pradesh

Following the success of our first collaboration in Ziro, we were thrilled to return the next year to design and construct the stage setup for the same iconic music festival in the heart of Arunachal Pradesh. This time, our vision was to evolve the design while staying true to the principles of sustainability, local craftsmanship, and harmony with the valley’s enchanting landscape.

Using bamboo once again as our primary material, we pushed the boundaries of creativity, introducing new structural elements and forms that elevated the visual and spatial experience for performers and attendees alike. The design embraced the fluidity of music and the organic beauty of the surroundings, creating a dynamic yet grounded space that felt both innovative and deeply connected to the valley.

The project was brought to life on-site, with the principal architects, our team, and the skilled local craftsmen working hand in hand. This collaboration fostered a shared sense of purpose and pride, as traditional techniques and modern design ideas came together to create something extraordinary.

For the festival-goers, the stage was more than just a backdrop for performances—it became a focal point, seamlessly blending into the environment while amplifying the magic of the music and the setting.
